The Angad Arts Hotel has been named one of the craziest hotels in the country. It's not your average art gallery meets hotel. Each room comes to life through bold loud colors covering every item in each room. You don't just pick a room with a view, you pick a room based on an emotion and vibe. From their, you let your imagination go wild and experience an interactive art experience on each floor. What was incredible though was over the span of two years, I worked alongside of the development team in bringing not only the hotel to life, but their rooftop bar, and ground floor restaurant. This one building is a family of brands and experiences. Basically a graphic designers dream come true, I was able to get loud, wacky, bold, and a little risque. Down to the hallway signs, we wanted to be as intentional as possible with everything we created, and made sure a common story was being told at all times.

The CHALLENGE
With a brand this loud and all over the place, the biggest challenge was making sure it didn't feel like a rainbow came into each room and just barfed all over the place. Finding a consistent thread, and keeping everything on a high respected level, was a challenging feat in itself. This needed to be something that inspired the normie to the art critic and everyone in between.

the RESULT
As Creative Director on this project, I was able to bring to life the brands of the hotel, and weave that brand into a rooftop experience, and a boujee restaurant on the ground level. From each touch point, we wanted the person to walk away feeling they were experiencing something truly unique.
