Chant is a social media platform that showcases creatives’ work, goals and interests, while connecting them with other creators and employment opportunities. Beautifully designed, purposefully inclusive, and specifically functional for creatives’ needs. After moving to a new city, founder Ryan Lanier found himself without an outlet for creative collaboration. He gathered a group of his creative co-conspirators to help make something new, a tool to bring creative communities closer, to help artists living near each other discover new ways to co-create.This is where I enter the picture. I worked closely with Ryan who was building out the UX in strategically designing a space that was not only easy to function, but also spoke to the inner creative in each of us. Our goal from the beginning was to create a canvas so that artists could see through the noise and connect on a real life level.
